Parkview Constructions - Beach St, Coogee

Parkview Constructions had a project consisting of 4 luxury ocean view units. Lidoran Architectural was chosen as the preferred contractor due to the technical expertise and attention to detail essential for this particular metal roofing job.

It was decided that Lysaght Ultra Kliplock 700 would be the main material for the roof design - consisting of skillion & flat hipped roofs running into box gutters that were constructed around exposed feature Ibeams.

The high activity of Beach Street and the steep nature of the block made crainage and material delivery very difficult, however with much care and intelligent logistics all materials were safely delivered and loaded onsite.

High tech Aircell insulation was installed to provide the best possible thermal ratings – cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The purlins of the rear two roofs were offset so when the roof sheets were layed it created the impression of waves rolling onto the shore – a very challenging task.

The timber finishing, exposed steel and rendered brick work gave the flashing detail a very unique and interesting look.

Operations Manager Wayne Podlich and his team enjoyed the challenges this project presented and the final result was a great success.
